Easy Backyard Access

I was in a bad spot. Before disability, I got great satisfaction from my yard. Keeping the grass trimmed, the trees pruned and the bird and squirrel bellies full.

The wheel chair did not enhance the enjoyment, I tell you. I needed a solution.

I built with my own two hands, from the comfort of my chair, the 192 foot boardwalk shown in this video.

People thought I was nuts when I told them what I was doing. It was not an elegant operation, and it took two years to complete.

Now they just look at it and wonder how this happened. Sometimes it is a good thing to be stubborn.

I am just a guy with a disease called adrenomyeloneuropathy. I want other guys with the disease to see the good parts of disability. Not the gloom. Not the doom. Make sense?
