Why do kids walk on train tracks?

I did it for as long as I can remember. We all did.

  • I expect that none of us had ever heard of a balance beam
  • We had two sets of train tracks across the field
  • I guess it was fun

I was never so good at it. No idea why, just was not.

But I sure tried.

I fell a lot. That did not help me to understand why.

Now, I know why. It is a bit of a story. May I share it with you?
